Wordless Wednesday | Children's Museum

So, you'd think with all of the excitement of going to school last week would've been good for Kendall.  Oh no! We had more in store.  Friday morning, we had a consultation with her surgeon to set up the 2nd and last surgery to remove her birthmark.  Since we had to drive to Minneapolis for a 10 minute appointment, I thought we should make a fun day out of it.  Last year when we went, we hit up Nickelodeon Universe.  Kendall loved it, and I thought about going back, but I figured we'd try something different.

This time, we went to the Children's Museum.  Wow, it was awesome!!  There was so much to play with, crawl in and over, touch, read, etc. etc.  We will definitely be going back.

I took over 100 pics while we were there, so here are some of them.  They are straight from the camera, so I didn't have time to edit.
Kendall was running all over to try the fun stuff.  Books, puzzles, slides,
climbing, wheels, trees.  So many fun things!

There was a little town set up there.  You could deliver the mail, go grocery shopping, run a store, run a restaurant, go to the clinic, you get the drill.  Kendall loved riding on the fake bus, dressing up like a fireman and cooking.  See the top left?  She was sweeping the floors to be sure she cleaned up.  3rd row - she said she needed pretty flowers on my table for the dinner.  After we painted a couple of pretty pictures, the day was over.

I can't wait to go back, this time with Sydney.  What a fun day!
