Hope.

Hope.  Four small letters, but yet it packs so much meaning.  This has been the recurring word through Wes' journey starting just a few weeks ago.  Through every tragedy, there is a sliver of hope to be found.

They found their hope today, at UCLA.  At 7:30am this morning (9:30 our time) they started surgery to remove a portion of his tumor.  After the initial diagnosis, this didn't appear to be an option.  However, with a lot of hope, prayers and faith they are there today.

I know that everyone that has met them has their eyes on the clock today, their hearts on Wes, Shanna and the kids, and their mind full of prayers.  I know I do.  When I look at their four beautiful kids, how can you not have hope?
